Is Asian Games Give Profit for Indonesia?

   The 18th Asian Games was a pan-Asian multi-sport event, with held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Indonesia. For the first time, the Asian Games were hosting in two cities, the first one is Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia and the second is Palembang, the capital of South Sumatera Province. For this event, government need many cost, approximately 30 trillion rupiah. So, what's Asian Games 2018 effect for Indonesia?
    For the short term, Asian Games causes an increase in hospitality and tourism. Tourist from all over Asia will gather in Jakarta and Palembang to watch their country match. For that, they need place for keep overnight. Everyday, they need food and drinks of course for the basic needs of their life. Moreover, to go to the stadium, field, and another place, they must rent the car or use the public transportation. All of that can increase the national income from consumption factor and help some entrepreneur, salesman, trafficker to increase their income. Not only that, it can increase the income of airlines in Indonesia because maybe some of them want to see this event in Palembang and Jakarta without exception, or maybe they want to explore Indonesia.
    For the long term, big event force the government to build the infrastructure. It means the major stadium, improvement of public transportation and public places. Thus, people in that area take advantage of the infrastructure. Not only that, this event rise Indonesian pride in International. It makes Indonesia have a nice profile and it can effect to many sector.
     The Asian Games 2018 give a positive impact for Indonesia for short or long term. The proof, it improve the infrastructure, rise Indonesian pride, and improve the economic sector of Indonesia

Bakti Desa

Sman 3 Bandung has an annual event called Bakti Desa. In this years, Bakti Desa was held from 3rd January to 5th January 2019. We gather in the morning at school and we got there by angkot. It takes a long time, around 2 hours drive by car. We had been divided into several groups. I, Galuh Dilla, Karin Astrid, and Amelia are in the same group. Ah, I forgot to tell you about the village. This Village is called Cibereum Village, why? Because it located in Cibeureum, Kertasari, Bandung. Our angkot is the first to arrive there, but when we arrived there are no other angkot there. So while waiting for another angkot, I enjoyed a plate of batagor first. When everyone have gathered, we attend the welcome greeting and have lunch. Finally, we went to our foster family house. Our foster family have a spacious house. They have 3 children. Their first and second children have married. The third child still in pesantren. They say that their house feel empty because none of their children stay in
